Life Update

I feel like a deadbeat blogger. So many outfit posts, recipes and shop updates I should have been posting over the past few weeks. My computer is still not fixed, and I have been kind of lacking motivation. For the past two weeks I have been eating raw. I did not want to do a raw food journey because this isn't just a detox for me. I want to make this my lifestyle. I have been researching, reading and watching raw videos for years now. I feel called to follow this path. It feels like the most high vibrational, pure way of eating, but I am not going to lie it is hard. Not only the change from vegetarian to raw but the financial aspect. When you eat raw, you have to eat A LOT. We'e not talking a salad and a few fruits I'm talking 15 peaches, 2 bunches of grapes, a salad with 5 heads of lettuce and so much more. I doubt most people eat this much fruit or vegetables in a week, and this is just a days worth of food. It costs a lot of money to keep this up, especially when I only want to eat organic. I think I have to be realistic and for now slow it down to maybe 2 raw meals a day and just going vegan until I am making more money.

I have a few instagram photos from some meals I took pictures of. There's not that many because really who wants to see what I am eating at every meal? I did go to an amazing farm stand that sells to the fancy restaurants and famous chefs here in San Diego. The produce was AMAZING. I never realized that the blackberries I had been eating from the grocery store was not real blackberries. The ones I got at the farm stand were sweet, delicious and so different from what I was used to. Albeit they were like $5 for a handful but still delectable.

I have also been lagging on shop updates and posting new listings in the shop. I got in new jars for Earth Oils and am working on the coconut rose milk bath soak, and larger versions of all my bath soaks. I am also working on the fall line for Aquarian Soul. I have a few dreamcatchers to post also but with no computer to upload to its been hard. I start school next week, and I am in the final stretch of (finally) graduating college. I still can't believe it after 7 years, its almost over. I am looking into attending a holistic school near the beach after I graduate. I will be studying herbs, aromatherapy, botany, and other holistic healing methods. I am super excited to start learning what I really love.

Hopefully I will be ready to list tons of more items in the shop by next week. I also have a vegan horchata, vegan mint chocolate popsicles, and chia seed pudding recipes coming soon!
