BEVERAGE RECIPE NO. 2

It was such a hot day today in San Diego, and I decided it would be a perfect day to make one of the beverages in my summer drink roundup. I have a lot of peaches and nectarines right now that are super ripe so I decided to make the Peach and Blackberry Muddle from the Martha Stewart website. I also happened to have bought every berry known to man yesterday, so I had lots of blackberries, and of course fresh mint from my backyard. We just had to trim down the wild mass of mint plants that had taken over the avocado and orange trees, so now I have  small amount of mint I have to work with. Hopefully I wont use it all up making mojitos this summer before it has a chance to grow back!



 Peach & Blackberry Muddle








You will also need:


- 2 oz your choice of burbon whiskey ( all I had was some leftover jack daniels from a day I made whiskey sours)
- splash of sparkling water/ seltzer



Add the peaches, blackberries, and raw honey to your glass

 Add two sprigs of mint and....








 MUDDLE!!!





 Add 2 oz of whiskey



 Add ice and top of with sparkling water and...




 ENJOY!
