SOLAR Δ Δ Δ E C L I P S E

So this past Sunday was the solar eclipse. The news kept talking about the "ring of fire" and I was expecting it to be a full eclipse, but it was only partial. My boyfriend and I went to a local public park that has a 360 view of San Diego...well DUH we should have expected, but it was PACKED. There was even a shuttle taking people from the bottom of the mountain to the top. Everyone was parked in a no parking zone, so we did also, and we had a nice little spot sitting on a ledge. The science museum was sold out of eclipse viewing glasses, so just our luck two little entrepreneurs were selling homemade eclipse viewers for $3. (I was a little skeptical on their legitimacy, I think it was window tint folded up) I got a bit of a headache looking at the sun through it, but it was better than nothing. I was only able to get one ok picture of the eclipse. When we were walking back to the car we noticed the reflection on all the other cars were hundreds of little crescent moons from the light coming through the trees. I think that was better than the eclipse itself!
